NATIONAL DAY OF SYRIA
The national day of Syria is celebrated on the 17th of April each year. Syria proclaimed its independence in 1941, but it took French troops five years to evacuate the region, so the country celebrates its freedom on April 17, 1946.
NATIONAL ANTHEM OF SYRIYA
The national anthem of Syria is human ad-diyar means “Guardian of Homeland” .It was adopted in 1938. It was temporarily fell from used when Syria joined the United Arab with Egypt in 1958 but when Syria succeeded from the union, the anthem was completely restored.
The national flag of Syria consists of three bands colored red, white and black and two green stars in the middle white portioned.
